Torch Technologies is currently seeking a Budget Analyst/Admin to support Government Program Lab Managers. The candidate will be supporting both government and contractor leads with budget preparation, reporting, travel and material tracking, CDRL administration, and cost/schedule variance analysis for multiple programs supporting multiple government customers. The successful candidate must possess knowledge and capabilities related to performance management, organization, problem solving, analysis, adaptability, self-motivation, reliability, and accountability.
- Responsibilities and areas of support include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide support related to budgeting, reporting, travel and material tracking, and cost analysis across multiple labs.
- Work with government leads and lab managers to develop and establish baselines while helping monitor and manage the commitments associated with each program in order to successfully execute goals within program requirements.
- Track hours by employee and labor category to include assessment of burn out dates.
- Prepare and maintain presentation materials for top level management associated with budgets for multiple labs.
- Analyze budget performance to determine whether the desired results are being produced and if not, provide insight into the variance and work toward possible solutions in a timely manner.
- Estimate future budgetary needs.
- CDRL administration.
- Experience Requirements:
- General
- Qualified applicant will have good communication (oral and written) skills and the ability to establish and maintain a close relationship with internal and external customers as well as work independently and take a proactive role to assure that items are completed on or ahead of schedule.
- Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Applicant should be detail oriented with good analytical skills, able to handle multiple deadlines and priorities, and be a team player.
- Candidate must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
- Position requires that candidate possess a final security clearance.
- Preferred
- Experience with military service government funding and execution processes.
