Keel Point, a distinguished wealth management firm, with multiple locations in the United States, including Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Wealth Advisor to join our team. We believe in working hard to ensure our clients and their families achieve their financial goals, and we equally value work life balance.
The Wealth Advisor would be joining a team that currently consists of 4 advisors and 7 support team members. We are looking to add a Wealth Advisor to our team who is excited about serving families to accomplish Keel Point's purpose, helping others harness wealth to live with peace and purpose.
Job TitleWealth Advisor
Key Qualifications and Characteristics- Experience working directly with clients and managing client relationships
- Currently licensed (SIE, Series 7, Series 66)
- Enjoys both the relational and technical components of being an advisor
- A knowledgeable planner with a desire to continue learning
- Experience developing and maintaining customized financial plans
- Comfortable discussing the tax implications of various planning strategies
- Has experience with Excel and at least one financial planning software
- Experience trading and managing client portfolios
- Familiar with using a Client Relationship Manager (CRM)
- Likes working on a collaborative team and contributes to a positive team culture
- Has a strong work ethic and high personal and professional integrity
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Pays attention to details and takes pride in the quality of their work
- Be the financial advisor responsible for 100-130 households
- Be responsible for executing our client service matrix to ensure a high level of service
- Develop and present financial plans for prospects and new clients
- Create suggested portfolio allocations and recommendations for employer retirement plans
- Manage several 401k plan relationships (assist new employees, manage annual meeting)
- Prepare for client meetings by updating plan documents and preparing a financial planning driven agenda
- Provide timely meeting follow up to ensure action items are addressed and notes are documented
- Help our team serve our entire client base through special projects and creating efficient processes
