Overview
A growing wealth management team is seeking a Private Wealth Advisor in Huntsville, AL!
This role is onsite and offers the opportunity to work closely with firm leadership while serving high‑net‑worth individuals and families. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deepening existing client relationships, delivering comprehensive financial planning, and guiding clients through complex financial decisions. This position plays a key role in ensuring an exceptional, high‑touch client experience across all aspects of wealth management.
CompensationCompensation:
Base salary commensurate with experience $150K-$190K, plus performance-based incentives including bonus and commissions on new assets. Full benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, paid holidays, and ongoing professional development support.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary relationship manager for existing client households, maintaining strong, long‑term relationships.
- Build and present comprehensive financial plans, including retirement, tax‑aware strategies, estate considerations, and cash‑flow projections.
- Review client goals, investment strategies, risk tolerance, and overall planning needs during ongoing review meetings.
- Communicate proactively with clients regarding market conditions, plan updates, timelines, and key financial decisions.
- Partner with internal team members to support complex client situations and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Coordinate with external professionals, including CPAs and attorneys, to align tax and estate planning strategies.
- Participate in internal investment discussions and provide planning insights that support portfolio decisions.
- Maintain accurate documentation, client notes, and compliance requirements within CRM and planning systems.
- Represent the firm at professional events, networking opportunities, and community engagements focused on relationship-building (not cold prospecting).
- 5+ years of direct client‑facing experience in wealth management or financial planning.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
- Proven ability to build trust quickly and manage high‑net‑worth client relationships with discretion and professionalism.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Series 7 and 65/66 required (or ability to obtain promptly).
