Position Summary
Vali Incorporated seeks a highly qualified candidate to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) as a subject matter expert in Department of Defense Budget/Financial Analysis. This position will support the MDA in Huntsville, AL, assisting with DoD Budget/Financial Analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and consulting services in DoE financial management
- Execute program funds, monitor obligations and expenditures, and support development and review of program budgets
- Track, analyze, and execute program funding; prepare monthly execution reports
- Utilize financial systems effectively, including initiating Purchase Requests (PRs), generating MIPRs, and contract modifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to financial execution
Education Requirements
- MA/MS and 10 years' experience OR 15 years' experience in DoD business field
- Proficiency in Excel and MS Office suite
- Understanding of the PPBE process
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Must possess at minimum a DoD Secret Clearance
Experience Requirements
- Proven knowledge of Excel and MS Office
- Understanding of PPBE process
- Strong communication skills
- Teamwork capability
- Security clearance as specified
Desired Experience
- Knowledge of DoD PPBES methods for decision-making and policy formulation
- Ability to work independently and coordinate high-level activities
- Support multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables
