The Plant Controller will support the IMS operations in Huntsville, Alabama. The role’s primary responsibilities include financial forecasting, planning, budgeting, and financial control systems. The Plant Controller will collaborate with Plant Management to achieve performance metrics such as revenue, gross profit & margin, and inventory turns, and will be in charge of all finance activities for the local manufacturing plant.

• Provide advice and counsel to plant operating management to ensure optimal plant performance.
• Collect and interpret financial data to influence, recommend or compel management toward decisions consistent with company objectives.
• Identify and implement programs that control the corporation’s financial risk consistent with direction from the Division Controller and Corporate Accounting.
• Review and analyze financial information and highlight with Plant Managers to drive plant profitability.
• Prepare and submit month‑end close and management reports in a timely fashion.
• Prepare financial projections and plant status reports to divisional and corporate management as required, and coordinate discussions with plant and division management on financial matters.
• Develop and implement systems to control manufacturing operation costs and maintain systems to monitor product lines and customer profitability.

• Ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and explain complex information clearly.

• BA degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of cost accounting/plant controller experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management.
• Specific experience in the electronics hardware manufacturing industries desirable, as well as experience working in fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Oracle ERP preferred.
