is seeking qualified candidates to fill our Senior Mechanical Engineer position.

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will directly support the Missile Defense Agency staff in the office of Ground Based Midcourse Defense, Next Generation Interceptor. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Analysis of structures, structural mechanics, failure modes and fatigue analysis
• Support planning for future missile defense capabilities and requirements
• Lead Technical Interchange Meetings across multiple technical disciplines
• Lead Working Groups during the absence of Civilian or Military Chairs

Required Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science in a STEM related field.
• 12+ years of related experience in Structural analysis as a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineer is required.
• Demonstrated Experience in Aerospace Industry is required, including with Large projects, Missiles, Rockets, Spacecraft, or Aircraft.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills (demonstrated experience briefing CEO and/or General Officer/SES level).

Preferred Qualifications:

• A Master of Science in a Stem related field is highly desired.
• MDA Experience is preferred.
• Experience with the development of documentation for Engineering and Program Reviews.is desired.
