Teledyne Brown Engineering (TBE) is seeking a senior level Ground Systems Controller. This candidate will work in a control room environment to provide ground system support services for Space Launch Systems (SLS) to include Space Launch System Operations Engineering support to Artemis and other NASA programs. The Ground Systems Controller is responsible for configuring, monitoring, and recovering critical ground system services required to support Marshall Operations Systems, Services, and Integration II (MOSSI II) contract.

Critical services include telemetry receipt, routing and archival, voice/video distribution, and configuration management systems. Operations are conducted 365x24x7.

The individual selected must be willing and able to work all shifts and be expected to work weekends and holidays that fall during the scheduled work week.

• 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
• 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance (US Citizenship is required).
• Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate computer and telecommunications systems.
• Provides technical leadership to less‑senior engineers.
• Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analysis reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
• Applies engineering principles to perform functions such as computer system architecture design, computer system integration, computer and telecommunications configuration management, and quality assurance testing of computer and telecommunications systems, audio and video associated support systems.
• Responsible for developing project plans, justifications, guidelines, and controls.
• Must have working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs required.
• Must have excellent writing and speaking skills.
• The candidate will undergo a rigorous training certification program and must successfully complete certification to retain the position.
• Must be able to work well in a team environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM‑related field preferred.
• Experience that demonstrates the ability to work well under pressure.
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix and Microsoft command line functions preferred.
• Previous experience working in a help desk call center, computer systems maintenance, plant operations, etc. preferred.
• An interest in NASA and the space program.
