LeidosDefense Systems Sector
Leidos’ Defense Systems, Systems Integration and Test Team is seeking a Integration Engineer Team Lead. We are a diverse team that works to implement unique solutions for complex problems in the defense sector, including but not limited to kinetic and directed energy defensive and offensive platforms as well as RADAR and other surveillance and sensor technologies. Our team works across multiple business sectors, with industry partners, and directly with the customer.

Primary Responsibilities- Working directly with the customer and contractors to execute program requirements.
- Executing test plans for development, qualification, and acceptance phases of hardware projects.
- Creating, modifying, and using Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) test platforms to satisfy testing requirements.
- Completing requirements verification and validation documentation and reports.
- Performing test data analysis via data log parser, Wireshark, and/or software debug tools.
- Briefing both internal and external parties on test results and data.
- Debugging software and/or hardware with various tools.
- The position may require working outside in all weather conditions and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- The position may require minimal travel for test events (approximately 4 weeks a year).
- The position requires an ABET accredited B.S. or equivalent degree in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering with 8+ years of experience or 4+ years with MS degree.
- Candidates must have knowledge of and experience with defense or commercial test engineering practices and processes.
- Candidates must have experience developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures.
- Candidates must have direct, hands‑on experience with hardware, software, or system integration, troubleshooting and testing.
- Candidate must have ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
- Five to eight years of experience with test planning and execution.
- Experience with RADAR / RF systems.
- Working knowledge and operation of electronic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, voltmeter, signal analyzer/generator).
- Working knowledge of software languages Python, C, C++, C# and or firmware languages for Xilinx or Altera devices.
- Experience with Linux, Matlab, Labview, and Wire Shark.
- Experience preparing and presenting briefings and/or demonstrations to customers and management.
- Planning and executing demonstration tests and US Gov't test ranges/facilities.
