responsibility. Your Mission is Ours. Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Guidance Navigation and Control Summer Intern. In this role, you will apply missile guidance, navigation, and control expertise to modeling and simulation, support ongoing high fidelity model development, and gain experience in verification and validation of simulation software. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of C++, Python, and MATLAB/Simulink.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

• Pursuing a BS Degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
• Possess an Secret clearance (minimum)
• Experience/knowledge of at least some of the simulation and programming tools (Matlab, Simulink, C++, Python) Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.

Skills:

• Have an interest in working on an Interceptor Missile Program
• Missile program experience
• Simulation and software experience
• Experience or academics in classical controls designs including but not limited to PD and PID controllers.
• Experience in working in an Agile Dev Ops environment
• Possess a Secret clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
