Job Description
The successful candidate will provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) services in the design, production, and delivery of target vehicles and sub-assemblies. Supports all phases of programs and projects from inception through completion. Responsible for sustainment program support to include integration, comprehensive logistics, sustainment plan creation and support requirements for the lifecycle of the product. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
May serve as the point of contact for logistics with the customer and provide advice or training on system design and specifications. Functions as the internal design interface between support system, concepts, and specifications. Performs analysis of the sustainment system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Other analysis may include interface studies, timeline and requirements allocation, effectiveness, verification, cost/risk, and supportability.
Skills
- CFR 49 Certified
- Experience in logistics or related field.
- Possess the ability to grasp technical concepts at a high level as explained by system engineers, translate, and document those concepts into a format easily understood by the user.
- Earned Value Management experience
- Familiarity with Asset Management System (AMS)
