This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

* Shifts available:
* This is primarily a weekday first shift position, but there may be instances where temporary off shift support may be required.
* Monday-Thursday (Weekday):
First (A) Shift is 5:00am - 3:30pm
** Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*** In this role you will be responsible to setup, operate, and perform data analysis for: laser tracker;
Romer arm; manual layout using design data to inspect machined and received components.
* Perform inspections on tooling.
* Perform first article, in-process, final and receiving inspections.
* Provide feedback to machinists and engineers with dimensional data.
* Document, track and complete discrepancy reports
* In addition, there will be times that you will need to provide inspection time estimates.
* Maintain and track all inspection equipment calibrations.
* Support process improvement initiatives.
* Maintain configuration control on files and job records
* Safely work within an industrial environment.
* You will be required to work independently without the direct oversite of more experienced inspectors.

* Minimum Qualifications:

*** Experience with dimensional inspection/Machining of aerospace components.
* Must have 8 years minimum experience with Leica Laser Tracker operation and Spatial Analyzer programming.
* Blueprint reading skills including GD&T per ASME Y14.5-2009 standard.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Excellent skills using Microsoft Excel.
* Fluent in the use of precision hand tools, gages, optical comparator, and surface plate work.
* Experience inspecting large, tight tolerance, high value components.

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** CAD system knowledge, preferably Creo
* Experience using Trigonometry to perform complex analysis
* PC-DMIS & Romer and CMM Experience
* PC DMIS NC on machine inspection.
* Advanced machining knowledge.
* Familiar with Mastercam preferably X6 or higher.
* Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around flight critical hardware.
* Outside processing knowledge (heat treat, plating, coating, EDM, grinding, etc.)
* Experience with tooling standard ASME Y14.43-2011
* Familiarity with ASME Y14.5-2018
* Familiarity with model-based definition
