Leidos Dynetics – is seeking a talented & skilled QE Specialist to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos Dynetics provides responsive, cost‑effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions. Dynetics is involved in multiple contracts to provide hardware and systems for high‑energy weapons, launchers, Hypersonics, and target surrogates for several DoD customers.

BasicQualifications
The QE Specialist will support mechanical manufacturing and assembly integration and testing for aerospace and defense manufacturing. Candidate will perform program quality planning, analyze program QA requirements, develop inspection/test procedures and process plans, finalize source inspection checklist, coordinate review of nonconformance documentation and support root cause/corrective action. Other key duties include reviewing AS9102 FAI documentation, working with DCMA and other government quality assurance agencies, collecting and reporting Quality Metrics, reviewing and approving new drawings, supporting project managers during design, manufacturing readiness reviews, PDR, CDR, APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, and conducting supplier surveillance audits.
Lead the special inspection processes and team members of Romer, Tracker, and Blue Light inspection processes.
- Candidate must possess a Bachelors Degree with a minimum of (8) years of experience in an ISO
9001/AS9100 system or equivalent experience in DOD, Aerospace, or Automotive manufacturing quality control. - Candidate must have experience working with non‑conforming material, performing failure analysis, identifying root cause and implementing corrective action.
- Must have experience writing work instructions, procedures, and implementing QMS documentation associated with AS9100.
- Candidate must be able to review and interpret contract quality clauses and technical data and develop and document appropriate quality verification procedures, plans, and work instructions, including AS9102 First Article Inspection documentation.
- Experience using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Bi, & Outlook) is preferred.
- Must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
- The position requires candidates to be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Candidate must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering
