Senior Software Test Engineer (GMD Weapon System)

Full-Time with an ESOP Contractor | Onsite in Huntsville, AL

Schedule:

9x80 (Every Other Friday Off) | Position is off-post, not Redstone Arsenal

Software Test Engineer to support theGMD Weapon System(GWS) on the Ground Support Systems(GSS)
IPT. You will be responsible for schedulingthetestsforexecutionas well as monitoring, measuring, controlling, and reporting on thetestprogress, the product quality status, and thetestresults. Candidates must have the ability to adapt thetestplan and compensate as needed to adjust for evolving conditions.

• Schedule and coordinate test execution events across engineering and product teams
• Monitor and control test activities, reporting on progress, product quality, and test results
• Interpret and validate system requirements and test guidance
• Develop and adapt test plans and integration procedures to meet evolving technical conditions
• Define testing criteria to ensure comprehensive coverage of requirements
• Utilize automated testing tools, scripting, and version control systems to support integration workflows

• U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
• Active Secret Clearance required
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field from an accredited institution and 5+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience
• Experience developing and executing system integration and test plans
• Proficiency in C++ and scripting languages such as Python
• Hands-on experience with Eggplant or other GUI-based automated testing tools
• Familiarity with version control systems including Git Lab or Bitbucket
• Ability to modify test approaches to respond to real-time changes in system behavior or schedule

• Experience working on Missile Defense programs
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Java experience/understanding
• Experience using
  
  Cameo for Model based systems engineering
• Active, in-scope
  
  U.S. Government
  
  DoDTop Secret clearance
