Responsibilities- Lead and support aviation acquisition programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
- Support system specification development and requirements analysis activities.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance in structures, propulsion, and/or dynamic components.
- Develop, review, and manage Statements of Work (SOWs) to ensure clarity and alignment with program requirements.
- Conduct Technology Readiness Assessments (TRAs) and system‑level trade studies to support development of requirements.
- Evaluate new technologies for application in improving design of highly complex aerospace systems.
- Provide technical risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Support Mission Equipment integration activities.
- Plan, coordinate, direct, and evaluate testing of highly complex aerospace systems.
- Support system qualification planning and execution.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support airworthiness certification and aviation testing efforts.
- Apply systems engineering principles to integrate and optimize program components.
- Support Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) initiatives to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, DoD acquisition processes, standards, and policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government and industry partners.
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of related aerospace engineering experience; experience in rotorcraft acquisition preferred.
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience in aviation acquisition program management (Army preferred; Navy or Air Force acceptable).
- Strong technical knowledge in structures, propulsion, and/or dynamic components.
- Thorough understanding of systems engineering principles, airworthiness certification, aviation testing, and SOW development.
- Experience in requirements development and verification.
- Experience supporting early acquisition programs.
Proven leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Army aviation acquisition programs and processes.
40‑hour week. Customer site. 0‑10% travel.

Salary$91,000.00 – $ per year.
