- Strategic Thinking, Independent decision-making, Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and retain high performing technical teams; experience conducting performance reviews.
- Ability to manage complex supplier relationships.
- Prior experience managing distributed/remote QA teams.

In this position you will:
- Lead and mentor quality assurance staff consisting of Quality Engineers and technical teammates.
- Ensure the quality, compliance, and on-time delivery of products throughout the supply chain by managing supplier performance, enforcing quality standards, and implementing corrective actions.
- Lead the evaluation and approval of suppliers and monitor key performance indicators.
- Develop strategy to lead assessments and onsite audits to ensure compliance.
- Lead the development of recovery plans for supplier accountability and process improvement activities.
- Collaborates with program management, engineering, supply chain, and government customer on quality related issues.
- Monitor metrics to assure compliance, accountability, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements. Develops strategies to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts to non technical stakeholders.
Basic knowledge of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), Basic understanding of Aerospace Supply Chain process and regulatory flow downs.
