Venturi, LLC A Chenega Company has an excellent career opportunity for an Advanced Architecture Analyst who will define and evaluate the Missile Defense System (MDS) capability trade space envelope, architectural performance metrics, and other high-level performance metrics as applicable. This individual will work on the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract.
Responsibilities:
Required:
- Master's degree and 12+ years of relevant experience OR a Bachelor's degree and 20+ years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with DOD and MDA processes and procedures
- Detailed knowledge of the MDS, including Command and Control networks
- Ability to work with minimal guidance to accomplish duties
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Preferred Navy veteran with experience as an Aegis Weapon System EDO or Joint Interface Control Officer, or Army/Air Force veteran familiar with MDS elements such as THAAD, LTAMDS, Sentinel, PATRIOT, GMD
- Deep understanding of MDS beyond traditional systems engineering perspectives
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently, as part of a team, or leading teams/tasks, applying engineering rigor to solve complex problems.
- In-depth practical and theoretical technical/engineering knowledge.
- Working knowledge of missile defense system components and mission.
- Familiarity with DOD and MDA processes and procedures.
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment while coordinating with multiple organizations and leadership.
- Proficient with Microsoft software applications.
- Ability to execute tasks independently and travel 20-25% to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
