Anakim Consulting Inc. has an opening for a senior level Network Engineer with Microsoft Telephony experience to work onsite in support of complex network environment. The Network Engineer will perform a variety of network engineering tasks in support of a transition from the current Cisco Telephony users for both Cisco desk phones and Cisco Jabber client users to the Microsoft Telephony platform.
Qualified candidates will have the ability to work as part of a collaborative engineering team and support independent tasks, as assigned. This position requires an analyst mindset and the ability to show attention to detail for troubleshooting, hands-on tasks, and supporting documentation.
Project Timeline: This is a temporary position (full-time W2 salary + benefits) supporting a limited term transition project. The anticipated completion date is on or before June 2026.
Responsibilities Include
- Work in coordination with the government customer to support a variety of engineering tasks for a telephony transition project.
- Support assigned work and necessary measures to ensure task completion for E911 compliance, integrating with E911 service providers and validating accurate location information for all users.
- Maintain responsibility for completing assigned projects within budget and scheduling guidelines.
- Follow pre-defined process and workflow.
- Support on-site work schedule.
- Other duties, as assigned.
