RTC - Electronics/Avionics Technician II (Armament) – On-site / off-site maintenance flight and Functional Check Flight operations to support the US Army Flight Test Directorate (AFTD) at Redstone Arsenal, AL, in accordance with current Army directives (AR 95-1 and AR 95-20). Areas for support include completing maintenance test flights on AFTD aircraft, fault isolation and troubleshooting, and managing internal contractor pilot and non-rated crew member flight records.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in the H-64 Series armament, electrical and avionics systems and components including solid state and transistorized subsystems according to pertinent technical manuals, directives and safety procedures.
• Perform maintenance, authorized modifications and alignment on aircraft weapons components, fire control units, sighting elements, electronic, and mechanical devices.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must have experience in all aspects of safety, documentation, HAZMAT, training/licenses/certifications, scheduling, production control and management.
• Must have analytical ability combined with knowledge and application of assurance principles and techniques.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have an aviation background with an electronics specialty.
• Must have completed an Army Aircraft Armament maintainer course.
• Must have at least 6 years of experience maintaining Army H-64 series weapon system.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
