We are seeking a Production Engineer/Analyst to support the Program Executive Office (PEO) Missiles and Space Integrated Fires & Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office. This role focuses on providing leadership, technical expertise, and strategic guidance for an Army Air and Missile Defense program currently in the production phase. You will ensure systems and components meet performance standards by overseeing production line validation, supporting design reviews, and participating in configuration audits.
ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities include technical evaluations of supplier proposals, coordinating production program management efforts, developing and implementing production strategies, and conducting trend analysis to identify and mitigate risks. You will actively engage with prime contractors through Integrated Project Teams (IPTs), Production Readiness Reviews (PRRs), and Failure Review Boards (FRBs), evaluate engineering changes, review deliverables, and mentor other engineers. This position requires extensive experience in technical evaluations, production management and manufacturing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to integrate production requirements across hardware/software configurations while supporting agile development.
Required- BS or BA degree
- 10 years' experience in defense manufacturing, reliability and/or industrial operations
- Experience with proposal Technical Evaluations
- Some travel
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
- Experience with defense system production planning
- Experience with production proposal evaluation
- Experience with Production Line Validations (PLV) and First Article Inspections (FAI)
