Mission Support Systems Team – Next Generation InterceptorYou will join as the Certified Principle Engineer, responsible for the technical oversight of engineering hardware and mechanisms design, interfacing with other disciplines, suppliers, and program management.
Responsibilities- Develop test procedures.
- Revise and provide input into supplier Statements of Work and other specifications.
- Allocate tasks to junior engineers.
- Independently develop and provide design solutions (solid models, detailed drawings, and release of engineering work products).
- Review requirements from instrumentation, dynamics, stress, systems, thermal, manufacturing, etc., to ensure they flow into detailed design.
- Support production meetings and resolve manufacturing & test anomalies/discrepancies.
- Experience leading a team of less experienced professionals and emerging authority.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD design.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
- Experience executing trade studies.
- Familiarity with Ground Support Equipment.
- Familiarity with AWS D17.1 and AIAA S114 Specs.
- Knowledge of Geometric Design and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Hands‑on hardware experience.
- Use of CREO CAD software.
- Experience with supply chain management and subcontracts.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with adjacent fields (systems engineering, electronics, stress/thermal analysis, configuration management, production, test, quality).
- Experience as a product owner from development to high‑rate production.
- Willingness to mentor junior engineers.
- Experience with Q‑Notes.
- Desire and ability to own technical challenges through solution.

Salary & CompensationNational Pay Statement: $104,500 – $184,115 (annual base salary range for selected states). This range is a general guideline; factors such as scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, and market considerations are considered.
Premium Pay Statement: $120,100 – $208,150 (annual base salary range for major metropolitan areas in CA, MA, NY). This range is a general guideline; factors such as scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, and market considerations are considered.
Both positions are incentive plan eligible.
