• Design, integration and documentation of Plant Process Computer Systems used in nuclear power plants.
• Design custom adapters, cabling and interfaces to transition existing plant equipment to new computer equipment.
• Assist with cabinet layout and design incorporating required power distribution, network distribution, network equipment, data acquisition equipment and servers.
• Prepare documentation required by the customer to maintain the system after delivery.
• Design to requirements, build and test the system.

• Perform review of hardware design, system architecture, network layout, cabinet design, system cabling interface, custom panel and kit design, and cabinet power design.
• Perform review of data acquisition designs including interface cabling and custom adapter designs.
• Learn and understand component selection to meet system needs and contract deliverables.
• Participate in set‑up, system modification, integration and testing, and delivery of projects.
• Understand and implement the quality standards applicable to nuclear safety systems.
• Willing to travel and work with local customers.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of applicable experience.
• Data acquisition hardware and software experience:
  • Entry‑level knowledge of circuit designs to support custom cables and interfaces.
  • Knowledge of Data Acquisition systems consisting of servers, workstations, controllers, I/O modules or boards.
  • Experience with ACAD and 3D modeling.
  • Drawing review skills.
  • Experience with Cisco switches.
  • Experience with RTP data acquisition systems or similar.
  • Experience with servers and workstations.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200 to $106,500 annually.
