Interested in joining us as a Materials Engineer Sr?
If so, your primary functions and responsibility of this position is to provide contracts expertise and leadership as part of the Strategic and Missile Defense Line of Business, Fleet Ballistic Missile Program.
In This Position You Will- Perform Materials and Processes (M&P) technical engineering assignments related to hardware assembly processes and testing.
- Provide technical evaluation and support of manufacturing issues/concerns.
- Participate in the selection, qualification, testing, and failure analysis of M&P, prepare technical and progress reports on work you're doing, prepare specifications, evaluate suppliers and analyze test reports.
- Coordinate with other disciplines such as Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement.
This position requires the ability to obtain a DOD security clearance. US Citizenship required.
Desired Skills- Experience communicating with internal and external customers on a regular basis.
- Non-conformance and failure analysis disposition experience.
- Experience acting or the ability to act as the organizational spokesperson on advanced projects and/or programs.
- Previous coordination or oversight with hardware suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ability to multi-task, handle shifting priorities and timeline pressure to meet project deadlines.
