Job Description: RSi is looking to fill a Team Lead position to support our NASA customer. The Team Lead is responsible for daily planning, coordination, and technical direction of staff, ensuring on‑time and within‑budget requirements. The role interfaces with NASA and other contractor management to define tasks and operations, ensures that only qualified personnel are utilized, and provides training and preparation for current and future tasks.

• Coordinates with NASA customers to assess skill needs and maintain employee certifications.
• Ensures all tasks comply with all pertinent MSFC procedures.
• Validates safety, health, and environmental (SHE) and quality guideline compliance.
• Oversees operations and provides leadership to Contractor’s technical workforce, ensuring efficient and effective accomplishment of all tasks and protection of Government property.
• Makes recommendations for process improvements necessary to accomplish tasks.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution OR 2 years of directly related experience is required in a comparable field where experience may serve in lieu of the degree requirement.

• Team Leads work in indoor and outdoor test areas, laboratory chambers, machine shops, cold and hot weather environments, heights, and confined spaces.
• May work with or around cryogenics, high‑pressure systems, hypergols, solid propellants, explosives, toxic environments, electrical instrumentation, mechanical systems, hazardous operations, and specialized equipment in large and/or complex facilities.

• Lifting up to 40 lbs, bending, crouching, crawling, climbing stairs/ladders, pulling cables/wires.
• Must use proper PPE for all tasks.

• Must be able to communicate with peers, supervisors, and customers.
• Must be able to work independently or in a team.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions (with or without reasonable accommodation).

Clearance: Must meet eligibility for a Public Trust background investigation and pass a security background check per Redstone Arsenal/MSFC requirements.
