Position: Senior System Reliability & Maintainability Engineer with Security Clearance
Check out this new opportunity! Senior System Reliability & Maintainability Engineer Full-Time with an ESOP Contractor | Onsite in Huntsville, AL Schedule : 9x80 (Every Other Friday Off) | Position is off-post, not Redstone Arsenal Senior Systems Engineer to perform System Reliability & Maintainability (RAM&T) Engineering Analysis. The candidate will be responsible for establishing, monitoring, and verifying subsystem RAM&T performance requirements for all design changes and new development efforts to ensure that RAM&T program requirements are achieved.

Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the position will be reliability, maintainability, and testability. You will liaison with Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and suppliers for the RAM&T of assigned subsystem and support the product teams in the investigation of RAM&T issues and develop mitigation plans.
* Define, monitor, and verify RAM&T performance requirements for subsystems
* Liaise with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and suppliers to evaluate design impacts on reliability and testability
* Conduct and document Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
* Perform software reliability analysis and support Built-In Test (BIT) and system testability assessments
* Investigate RAM&T-related issues and develop mitigation or corrective action plans
* Develop and present technical data to internal teams, suppliers, and customers
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of RAM&T processes and methodologies
* Support system-level RAM verification activities and readiness reviews

Qualifications:

* U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
* Active Secret Clearance required
* Bachelor's degree in a STEM field from an accredited institution and 5+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree and 3+ years of experience
* Experience with Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) analysis
* Experience with SW reliability analysis
* Experience with the development and verification of RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) requirements
* Experience on a large-scale missile defense system like GMD

Preferred Qualifications:

* 5+ years of System Reliability & Maintainability (RAM) expereince
* Experience with Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT), Reliability Growth Testing (RGT), and Environmental Stress Screening (ESS)
