Bel Research has an immediate opening for an AN/TPY-2 Hardware SME in Huntsville, AL.
The AN/TPY-2 Hardware SME supports the assigned emplacement team in radar emplacement and achieving Initial Operational Capability (IOC). This role involves providing hardware‑related updates, addressing test risks, and contributing to any troubleshooting activities.
The SME actively participates in all flight test preparatory meetings and events, including EMI/EMC testing. Additionally, they take part in pre‑test checkout and calibration activities ensuring the radar system’s successful deployment and operation.
Education RequirementsMaster’s Degree in a relevant engineering field from an accredited college or university
Experience Requirements- 20+ years of relevant experience in a RADAR related engineering field
- Previous mobile radar calibration test experience highly desirable
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
