• Create detailed part drawings for mechanical assemblies using Solid Works.
• Ensure all designs meet drawing standards and specifications.
• Conduct hands‑on checks on the manufacturing floor to verify dimensions and address any design‑related issues.
• Produce drawings primarily for sheet metal parts used in street sweepers.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to observe machines and take necessary measurements.
• Proficiency in Solid Works.
• Experience in sheet metal design and mechanical engineering.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles.

• Bachelor of Science degree.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical design.
• Experience working with heavy industrial equipment, mobile vehicles, or heavy trucks.
• Experience with machining and designing for sweepers or sewers.

Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, AL.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
