• Perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs on multi‑layer PCBs, electromechanical systems, and high‑value assemblies
• Lead repair efforts for mission‑critical or non‑standard hardware requiring deep technical expertise
• Collaborate with engineering on failure analysis, corrective actions, and design‑for‐repair improvements
• Develop, validate, and improve work instructions for new products and repair processes
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME) for troubleshooting, repair strategy, and test methodologies
• Train and mentor Electrical Technician personnel on repair techniques, documentation, and quality standards
• Support internal and external audits including AS9100, DCMA, and customer reviews
• Drive continuous improvement through lean initiatives, process optimization, and defect reduction
• Provide input on tooling, equipment, and process capability needs

• 5+ years of experience in electronics repair, manufacturing, or depot maintenance
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced diagnostics and complex component‑level rework
• Advanced IPC certifications (IPC‑A‑610, IPC‑7711/7721, WHMA‑A‑620 preferred)
• Strong documentation, communication, and mentoring skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, quality, and leadership teams
• Experience with automated test systems and corrective action methodologies a plus
• Ability to lift 25‑40 lbs. and sit or stand for extended periods
• Fine motor skills required for micro‑soldering and detailed rework
• Active SECRET security clearance required
