Systems Engineer - Senior Analyst: Job located in Huntsville, AL. This position supports the Engineering Development and Early Integration Labs on the System Integration, Test, and Readiness (SITR) contract and performs Systems Engineering Analysis in the Ground‑Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Development and Integration Lab (GDIL). Responsibilities include analysis of testing associated with Ground Based Interceptor (GBI), Exoatmospheric Kill Vehicle (EKV) and supporting operational hardware and software.

Experience and Qualifications: To be eligible, the ideal candidate should demonstrate:

• Research and derivation of system requirements (specification and interface definition documents).
• Planning and execution of compliance assessments against system requirements.
• Tool development and maintenance (MATLAB).
• Use of COTS instrumentation software analysis tools for root‑cause analysis.
• Test report documentation including findings and observations.
• Team work effectiveness.
• Support of relevant meetings, reviews, briefings, and working groups.

Required Education and Years of

Experience:

• Level 4:
  Advanced technical education (Bachelor in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry) with 9+ years related work experience or equivalent.
• Level 5:
  Same level of education with 14+ years related work experience or equivalent.

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Security Clearance – U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active U.S. Secret Clearance.
• Extensive experience using MATLAB for analytical tool development or numerical modeling.
• Extensive experience with COTS instrumentation as software analysis tools.
• Extensive experience analyzing performance data from complex systems.
• Extensive experience briefing analysis results to leadership/customers.
• Extensive experience documenting analysis results in formal reports.
• Extensive experience planning and executing analysis assessments against system specification and interface definition requirements.
• Ingenuity and creativity in solving complex problems.
• Root‑cause and fault analysis skills.
• Knowledge of GMD, GBI, and EKV.

• Advanced experience using MATLAB to develop and maintain analytical tools or perform numerical modeling on an MDA and/or GMD program.
• Advanced experience with COTS instrumentation as software analysis tools on an MDA and/or GMD program.
