Senior RF Engineer – Scientific Research Corporation
Innovate and advance cutting‑edge radio frequency technologies for the U.S. Government and industry partners.
Responsibilities- Identify, define, and solve complex RF system problems requiring high ingenuity and innovation.
- Design, develop, integrate, test, and field RF systems within project schedule and funding constraints.
- Collect and translate customer requirements into detailed specifications.
- Provide technical direction and assist in resolving technical issues with customers, partners, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Deliver complex technical presentations to program management and customers; lead major program reviews and proposal activities.
- Conduct extensive research and analysis to enhance technical and economic development; produce deliverable engineering products.
- Apply theoretical expertise in radio wave propagation, digital signal processing, RF and digital hardware design, communications theory, waveform development, and electronic warfare systems.
- Lead and provide functional guidance to engineering teams.
- Seek new business opportunities in related technical areas; identify new customers and develop additional tasking with existing customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with ten or more years of work‑related experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, leadership, problem‑solving, and planning skills.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, MathCAD, radar signal and data processing toolsets, and root cause analysis of RF systems.
- Knowledge of sensor signal processing, detection, probability and statistics; experience integrating sensor, shooter, and command and control systems.
- Knowledge of sensor array processing methods, antennas, and propagation.
Ten or more years of work‑related experience; U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a top‑secret/security clearance (SCI). No travel required.
