Effector Subsystems Products ESP) is are seeking a professional engineer to assume a key role within the System Power, Analog and Controls Department.

This position is
** 100% onsite
** in Huntsville, Alabama.
** What You Will Do
*** Design, analyze (including thermal considerations), simulate, and test power conversion circuitry potentially utilizing any standard non-isolated power conversion topologies (buck, boost, buck-boost) including modules and discrete designs.
* Guide Electronic Computer-Aided Design (ECAD) personnel through PWB layout of power circuitry and technical drawing creation.
* Perform design work within the bounds of a given schedule.
* Present reviews of technical data to program leadership and technical staff.
** Qualifications You Must Have
*** Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
* Minimum two (2) years of professional experience in design, analysis, simulation, and/or test experience with
** linear converters
*** Experience designing
** low level electronics components
*** Experience with any of the following non-isolated converter topologies:  
** buck, boost, buck-boost.
*** Experience with design, analysis, and test with analog electronic design and analysis, including
** FET, BJT, and/or Op-amp circuits
*** The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
** Qualifications We Prefer
*** Lab experience specific to power electronics and/or controls electronics
* Experience with software tools for electrical circuit simulation and/or printed circuit board layout
* Experience with fundamental power conversion concepts, components, and techniques
* Experience with commonly used power converter and/or motor drive control schemes
* Experience with circuit simulators such as SIMPLIS, Saber and/or analysis tool Mathcad.
* Experience with military specifications.
