Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off
Candidate will work commodity/category management team and other supply chain organizations to identify candidates for strategic and pricing agreements. Align internal business requirements to achieve business/financial goals through memorandum of agreements and other contractual structures, as well as align long‑term forecasts into schedule and/or price agreements to meet corporate affordability targets and enable pro‑active execution of purchase orders by the supply chain procurement organization.
EssentialFunctions
- Assess internal business needs and objectives for strategic partnerships and alignment on commodity management strategies, including development of new technologies (eg IR&D)
- Utilize strong business experience and acumen to develop a strategic approach with the supplier and structure MOA/Agreements that meet objectives and mitigate risks.
- Aggregate program demands and forecasts to assist in long‑term schedule and price agreements. Provide forecasts to suppliers on periodic and recurring basis.
- Solicit suppliers, review proposals, and develop agreement structures that to facilitate proactive creation/award of purchase orders.
- Review and maintain Agreements, and renew to avoid gaps in ability to support future acquisitions.
- Travel 25% to USG/Customer locations
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Security Clearance would be preferred, but not necessary.
- Master degree or focus in supply chain preferred.
- Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office products, as well as MRP/ERP system knowledge
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi‑task project actions
- Communication skills to lead meetings and develop presentation packages and business case analysis for review with business leaders
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater
D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $82,500 - $153,00. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $71,. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3
