Location: Madison, AL, In-person

Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday

Pay rate: $27- $30/hr

Position Overview:

Join our team as a Physical Dimensional/ Mechanical Calibration Technician, ensuring precision in measurement instruments. This position is imbedded in our client’s location full time Onsite Technical Service (OTS).

Responsibilities:
  • Calibrate and troubleshoot test equipment (micrometers, calipers, indicators, pressure, temperature, humidity, torque, etc.).
  • Issue and review calibration certificates.
  • Manage data entry and monitor orders.
  • Assist with inventory control and customer service communication.
  • Perform office duties, maintain lab cleanliness, and support workflow.
  • Assist in electrical equipment calibration and testing under supervision.
  • Prepare technical reports and other documentation.
  • Handle additional assigned duties.
Requirements and Skills:
  • Experience calibrating test equipment (Physical Dimensional or Mechanical).
  • Customer service, administrative assistant or data entry experience.
  • DOD, PMEL, or Military calibration background preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to error-free work.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills for team interaction and client collaboration.
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status required.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
