We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flying Probe Test Operator to join our team for the second shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining flying probe test equipment to ensure the quality and functionality of printed circuit boards (PCBs). This role requires a strong understanding of electronic components, test procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
Leidos' Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flying Probe Test Operator to support our Electronics Manufacturing Facility for second shift operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining flying probe test equipment to ensure the quality and functionality of printed circuit boards (PCBs). This role requires a strong understanding of electronic components, test procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate flying probe test equipment to perform electrical testing of PCBs.
- Interpret test results and identify defects or failures in PCBs.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and rework of PCBs as needed.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Document test results and maintain accurate records in the system.
- Collaborate with the quality and engineering teams to address issues and improve processes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification with 2-4 years of prior relevant experience or associate degree in electronics or a related field with 1-2 years is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components and PCB assembly processes.
- Proficiency in using digital multimeters (DMM) for measurements and diagnostics.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, test procedures, and technical documentation.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify defects or anomalies.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC‑A‑610 is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good computer skills, including proficiency in data entry, documentation, and using software tools for testing and reporting.
- Experience with Acculogic Flying Probe Equipment is a plus.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during testing operations.
- Manual dexterity to handle small electronic components and tools.
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 35 lbs.
