Position Overview
The Tolliver Group, Inc. (TTGI) is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support the Vice President of Finance and Accounting with day-to-day accounting operations. This role will assist with financial reconciliations, travel and expense review, and other accounting functions that support accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general accounting tasks including account reconciliations and financial record maintenance
- Review and reconcile employee travel expenses and related documentation
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
- Assist with processing transactions and resolving discrepancies
- Work closely with the Vice President of Finance and Accounting to support accounting operations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations
- Provide administrative and reporting support for accounting processes as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required
- 3+ years of accounting or finance experience preferred
- Unanet experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard accounting software
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
