Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with deep DoD contracting and Deltek Costpoint expertise to support our growing portfolio of government programs.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required)

• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior experience supporting a DoD contractor required

• Extensive experience performing all aspects of accounting in Deltek Costpoint
• Strong background in month-end and year-end close
  , audits, and general ledger functions
• In-depth knowledge of:
• GAAP
• FAR / DFARS
• DCAA practices
• Experience supporting DoD cost proposals
  , pricing strategies, and compliance requirements
• Proven ability to prepare and support ICE submissions to DCAA

• Working knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Program Managers and leadership

• Microsoft Excel and Word (advanced proficiency)
• Strong understanding of government contract accounting principles
• ERI experience (preferred)

• Analyze accounting processes, transactions, and account reconciliations during month-end and year-end close
• Assist in preparation and submission of Incurred Cost Electronically (ICE) to DCAA
• Support proposal development
  , including cost and price submissions
• Participate in bid strategy discussions and proposal meetings
• Provide financial guidance and support to Program Managers
• Review, enhance, and ensure compliance with company accounting policies and business processes
• Ensure adherence to contract requirements and assess the adequacy of internal controls and accounting practices
• Support audits and ensure ongoing compliance with government regulations
