WEEKEND QUALITY TECHNICIAN I - 2ND SHIFT
INTERNAL ONLY
Location: Huntley, IL
Position: Quality Technician I
Shift: 2nd Shift - 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
Schedule: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
Pay: $22.95/hour plus $1.25 shift differential
Position Summary:
Quality Technicians work closely with Manufacturing and other support departments to communicate compliance, monitor product quality, maintain quality records, quarantine suspect material, and resolve quality-related issues.
Job Qualifications - Level One:
- Reviews, understands, and follows inspection control plans
- Instructs and advises manufacturing staff on job requirements
- Coordinates, conducts, and records first-piece and in-process inspections and testing
- Monitors production process and collects dimensional data
- Maintains inspection and testing records and record retention
- Quarantines non-conforming products and raw material
- Understands and ensures proper packing standards
- Uses testing and measuring equipment including:
- Scales
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Height gauges
- Magna mikes
- Burst testers
- Barcode scanners
- Understands Minimum Workmanship Requirements
- Uses TEQ terminology
- Inputs SPC data as requested
- Maintains, controls, and prints labels
- Complies with Controlled Environment Procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6 months previous production line and inspection experience
- Quality Assurance experience in manufacturing preferred
- Standing, walking, bending, reaching

- Reading, writing, talking
