• Assists the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and processes prescriptions.
• If PTCB or ExCPT certified, assists with and coaches pharmacy technicians and cashiers in the operation of pharmacy systems and cashier registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

• Engages customers, greets them, and offers assistance with products and services; resolves issues and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive experience, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Develops strong relationships with muren???> most valuable customers.

• Under pharmacist supervision, assists in the practice of pharmacy, reviews and complies with the Walgreen Co. Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
• Performs duties assigned by Pharmacy Manager and staff, including entering patient drug information, verifying medicines, filling prescriptions, maintaining workflow, and reporting errors.
• Adheres to Good Faith Dispensing policy during all prescription dispensing activities.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register, handles cash, and assists customers in the OTC aisle.
• Handles telephone calls that do not require pharmacist attention.
• Processes manual claims for third‑party prescription programs and performs clerical duties.
• Supports inventory management activities including ordering and storage.
• Assists with clinical services and coordination of Walgreens healthcare clinics.
• Develops relationships with local medical готовы community and maintains respectful coworker relationships.
• Completes special assignments as assigned.

• Earns and maintains PTCB or ExCPT certification through the designated training program or state requirement.
• Attends training, completes PPLs requested by the manager, and acquires continuing education credits; maintains knowledge and skill in healthcare and pharmacy, including latest news and developments.

• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreensersey.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB or ExCPT certification.
