STARTING DATE: Immediately

WORK HOURS: Full Time / 10 months

RANGE OF PAY: $17.59 - $18.84 /Hour

BENEFITS: HESPA, IMRF, Voluntary Retirement, Insurance

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist student(s) with special needs throughout the day with academics and daily school routines.
• Will assist the student(s) in following a strict schedule and maintaining his/her safety while school is in session.
• Support the students and teacher to ensure the success of each student in meeting his/her IEP goals.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

SUMMARY OF

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must hold an ELS (Paraprofessional) license OR Professional Educator License (PEL).
• Good written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate with all levels of staff, parents, and students.
• Basic math and computer skills as well as some general office skills are needed.
