Job Description

Responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of control systems associated with HVAC and lighting controls. Performs installation, inspections, and maintenance on all types of control systems related to building automation, digital, electronic, and electro-mechanical systems to maximize efficiency and ensure a safe and comfortable environment.

General Duties:

Installs, replaces, and repairs electronic building automation controllers and related devices.

Interprets building and machinery documentation to troubleshoot and repair systems.

Identifies and resolves mechanical, electrical, and programming issues.

Uses vendor-specific software tools for troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Reads and interprets drawings and sequence of operations.

Inspects, tests, and troubleshoots electrical and electronic equipment such as sensors, control panels, input/output panels, flow meters, and relay panels related to HVAC control systems.

Assists other teams with troubleshooting HVAC, electrical, and control system concerns.

Handles emergency calls during and after hours as directed.

Maintains an organized and safe work environment, including cleanliness and security of materials.

Maintains tools and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks.

Receives, completes, and creates work orders.

Reports to work punctually and follows a consistent schedule.

Keeps updated with relevant codes and regulations.
