The Financial Systems Analyst will maintain Financial Information Systems and related technology solutions as assigned, providing support to end-user departments within the Mountain Health System. This role involves routine system maintenance, first-level end-user support, training, and responding to system issues and outages.

• Write instruction manuals and documentation for application systems, processes, and procedures.
• Consult with end-users to discover opportunities for process improvement and increase productivity using application systems.
• Perform system testing and validation for patches and upgrades to ensure quality and functionality.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely resolution of system issues.
• Stay informed about application updates and ensure hardware meets vendor specifications.
• Participate in implementation, upgrade, and migration projects, providing system knowledge and support.
• Promote best practices for application system use among users.
• Complete goals set by supervisors and maintain confidentiality as per HIPAA guidelines.
• Perform minor hardware repairs and contribute to system enhancements to improve customer experience.
• Manage multiple projects, adapt to shifting priorities, and stay current with supported solutions.
• Create and deploy feedback mechanisms for end-users.
• Develop test scripts for database integrity and assist in testing across applications.
• Demonstrate honesty, discretion, and confidentiality in all interactions.
• Report safety concerns and hazardous conditions promptly.
• Streamline systems to reduce documentation redundancy impacting patient care.
• Answer support calls respectfully, log tickets, and provide troubleshooting assistance.
• Work independently, attend meetings, and communicate clearly to support customer needs.
• Create or log enhancement requests for specific queries as needed.
• Use positive language to foster a positive perception of the company and services.
• Maintain professionalism and good time management, documenting issues thoroughly.
• Strive for service excellence, challenge the status quo, and perform other duties as assigned.
