Job Overview

As a Caregiver (Direct Support Professional) you will develop meaningful relationships with participants, support their daily living needs, and help them achieve personal, educational, and community goals. You will work in a team that values ownership, trust, and compassion.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities (e.g., grooming, feeding, mobility, medication reminders).
• Support participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, and nutrition.
• Encourage and facilitate participation in community and recreational activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with supervisors and the care team.
• Respond to behavioral challenges with patience, professionalism, and evidence‑based strategies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination (preferred but not required).
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance for some positions.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible.
