Phlebotomy Supervisor
Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full time Phlebotomy Supervisor to supervise and train phlebotomists in our Laboratory.
Highlighted Responsibilities
- Responsible for administrative duties including payroll and inventory control.
- Responsible for scheduling personnel. Ensures coverage 24 hours/day by taking calls and filling vacant shifts.
- Interviews and screens all applicants for employment. Makes recommendations for the hiring, transfer, dismissal and discipline of personnel.
- Provides in-service training and orientation to all phlebotomy new hires. Also conducts employee evaluations.
- Responsible to maintain and enforce current policy and procedures.
- Coordinates phlebotomy services for special functions such as community wide Health fairs.
