Overview
Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time, part-time & casual as needed Patient Care Assistant to work with our team on various departments within the hospital.
The Patient Care Assistant works in a supporting role to nursing by conducting patient care activities. Applicants provide direct and indirect non-professional nursing care under nursing or medical supervision. Primary duties include cleaning, taking vital signs, obtaining lab specimens, charting, escorting patients, assisting with activities of daily living, and managing clerical duties and ordering and receiving supplies.
Responsibilities- Perform non-professional nursing care under supervision as part of the care team.
