Patient Care Assistant
Cabell Huntington Hospital seeks a Patient Care Assistant for the Endoscopy Department.
The Patient Care Assistant supports nursing by providing direct and indirect non-professional nursing care under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining patient areas
- Obtaining and charting vital signs
- Collecting laboratory specimens and charting results
- Charting patient information and escorting patients
- Assisting with activities of daily living
- Managing clerical duties and ordering and receiving supplies
Qualification
Candidates must provide documentation of an 80% or higher score on the Medical Terminology exam.
