As an Observation Medicine Medical Director with USACS, you’ll be responsible for managing observation medicine services by collaborating with the hospital and nursing leadership while offering support to your Physician staff. As a leader for both the hospital and US Acute Care Solutions, you will influence broad company decisions and help facilitate the development of new leaders.

Job Details
  • Oversee day‑to‑day management of the unit
  • Provide leadership in the operations of the unit
  • Responsible for peer review, quality assurance, provider staffing
  • Assure quality patient experience by managing protocols and complaints
  • Practice Clinically
Administrative Responsibilities
  • Lead and organize all meetings to represent the Observation Unit
  • Responsible for the supervision on the onsite Physician Staff by managing the day to day responsibilities of these Clinicians
  • Report to the National Director of Observation Services
  • Maintain improvement plans for any area not meeting expected benchmarks
  • Investigate quality referrals from the hospital quality committee
Requirements
  • Board certified in Emergency Medicine
  • A minimum of 3 years experience caring for hospital based patients
  • Previous administrative experience desirable
