Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4 x 10-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM

• 40 hours per week guaranteed

• 13-week assignment duration

• One night of call during the week (8:00 PM to 6:30 AM call)

• Call every 4th weekend:
Friday 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Saturday 24-hour call, Sunday 24-hour call until Monday 7:00 AM

• 2 years of experience required

• First time travel candidates accepted

• ARRT certification required

• Must be able to scrub - this is mandatory

• Perform as first assist to physicians, including panning table and moving camera

• Experience required in Left and Right Heart Cath, Coronary Intervention, Peripheral procedures, PE Thrombectomy

• Work with Phillips X-Ray equipment and document in GE Mac Lab

• Familiarity with Cerner and Mac Lab systems preferred but not required if able to scrub

• Local candidates within 50 miles not accepted

• Complete lab work within 72 hours of signing contract

• Non-billable modules averaging 4-6 hours during orientation

The facility utilizes state-of-the-art equipment including Phillips X-Ray systems and maintains electronic health records through Cerner and Mac Lab systems. The cath lab performs a full range of procedures including cardiac catheterizations, coronary interventions, and peripheral vascular procedures, requiring skilled technologists who can function as first assists during complex cardiovascular procedures.
