St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist who supervises the dispensing of all medication to provide the correct medication in the correct strength and dosage form to the correct patient in a safe and timely manner while being consistent with professional judgment, hospital policies and the laws governing the practice of pharmacy. Safeguards the patient by screening their drug regimen for allergies, drug interactions, proper drug and proper dosing and therapeutic duplication.
Provides drug information to allied health professionals and the patient. Performs special assignments as directed by the Director of Pharmacy or other pharmacist supervisors.
