Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with plant leadership, the Plant Controller, and FP&A to analyze financial performance and support decision-making in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in financial reporting, forecasting, cost accounting, and process improvement initiatives while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results; prepare variance analysis and executive summaries for plant, division, and corporate leadership
• Coordinate internal reporting, month-end close, and quarterly reporting to divisional and corporate teams
• Develop and maintain daily and weekly financial and operational metrics
• Prepare operational and financial review packages for leadership
• Support balance sheet, income statement, and inventory forecasting analysis
• Direct standard cost rate collection, overhead allocation, and quarterly physical inventories
• Evaluate, improve, and support cost accounting systems, policies, and procedures
• Conduct special cost studies and financial analyses; present recommendations
• Support product cost decisions, market analysis, and scrap disposition
• Lead or support process improvements, SOX activities, and ad hoc reporting
• Mentor and support junior finance staff as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business (Accounting emphasis required); CPA or MBA preferred
• 5–7 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong financial analysis, reporting, and cost accounting skills
• Advanced Excel proficiency;
  Oracle ERP, SAS, or SQL experience a plus
• Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
• Self-starter who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and is comfortable on the plant floor
