Staff Accountant

ESA (Energy Services of American Corporation) is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. This is a full-time, in-person role that supports day-to-day accounting functions and assists with financial reporting and internal control processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, advanced Excel knowledge, and prior experience working in a professional accounting environment.

• Salary: $52,000 annually

• Associate’s degree in accounting (preferred)
• At least 3 years of accounting experience
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

• Prepare and post routine journal entries
• Perform cash reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting support
• Help maintain internal controls and support audit documentation
• Provide minor accounts payable assistance as needed
• Maintain organized financial records and assist with clerical duties
• Complete other accounting-related duties as assigned
