The United with Love mobile unit travels to Roanoke on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month from 5-6 pm for food appointments. Volunteer help is needed to load the truck with food in our food pantry, take the truck with food to our neighbors in Roanoke in the parking lot of Seminary United Methodist Church, 285 Seminary Street, and then bring any remaining items back to the food pantry in the truck.
Volunteers of the United With Love Food Pantry mobile unit assist neighbors with the selection of food products for their households. By providing a range of fresh fruit, vegetables, lean proteins, canned goods, and dairy products,our food pantry aims to alleviate the pressures of accessing healthy food for neighbors in Huntington County.
This particular opening is available on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month from 4-6:30 pm for a volunteer to serve twice a month in this capacity.
